Broomfield STEM is funded by a diverse funding stream, including sponsorships, individual donations, grants, and student fees. An important part of our mission is to make STEM learning accessible for all students, so Broomfield STEM works to keep student fees as low as possible for everyone, and we also offer families a tiered fee structure that asks them to pay what they are able. We rely on funds from our other sources to help make up the difference. All of our mentors are volunteers, but we still have to pay our small staff, house our programs, teams and events, supply our students with the equipment and supplies they need to learn, and much more. Sponsorships not only ensure that our teams and programs have the funds they need from year to year, they will also allow us to continue to expand our programs to have a greater reach, and make a greater impact. FAQs

1. Is my sponsorship tax-deductible?

Broomfield STEM is a 501(c)3 Education Non-Profit Entity and our EIN is 92-2727209. Please consult with your tax advisor for specific guidance related to your contribution, but in most cases sponsorships of Broomfield STEM are tax-deductible. All sponsors and donors will receive a written confirmation of donation or sponsorship.

2. How do I become a sponsor?

We value our partnerships with our sponsors, and we are excited to add you to the Broomfield STEM team! Please take a few minutes to complete the form on this page or email us so we can reach out and introduce ourselves to you personally.

We are happy to work with you to complete any paperwork or provide the information you need. We are able to provide an I9 or other certificates upon request, and we already have accounts set up with Benevity, Your Cause, Rayze and Colorado Gives to assist with corporate or employee giving.

If you prefer to keep it simple, you can also mail a check to Broomfield STEM at 1700 W 10th Ave. Broomfield, CO 80020. We will include our 501(c)3 tax ID number on your receipt when we receive your donation.

3. When is the deadline for sponsorship?

We gratefully accept sponsorships year round, so there is no deadline. Our fiscal year is July-June, so we create our budget for the year in the late spring. If you are planning a sponsorship and would be willing to share your plans with us, it would help us a great deal with our budgeting process.

4. Can we designate our sponsorship for a specific purpose?

Yes! Sponsorships are the most helpful if we are able to apply them where our need is greatest. That being said, we are happy to work with you to ensure that your sponsorship aligns with your company’s goals and values, and we are happy to designate them to a specific program if you prefer. 5. What is the duration of a sponsorship?

That’s entirely up to you! We hope that our partnership will be a long and impactful one, but we will gratefully accept one-time donations as well. Sponsorship benefits will apply for the fiscal year in which the sponsorship is paid, and company logos will be featured on our website in accordance with your sponsorship level for 12 months after the sponsorship is received. Sponsorships can be renewed annually, and we welcome installments, lump sums, prearranged in-kind donations, donations of space or reduced rent, and more.
