Join us for our NEW Saturday Morning Math Club!
Help build a strong math foundation for your child when it matters most! Join us one Saturday a month for a hands-on math morning designed for children ages 4–8 and the adults who love them. Kids and their adults will explore math together through hands-on games, puzzles, activities and manipulatives that make forming foundational skills feel like play.
Each session will be filled with activities that build number sense, counting, patterns, geometry, measurement, number fluency (including addition and subtraction), early problem-solving, and beginning algebraic thinking skills in ways that are engaging and accessible for every learner. Families will leave with resources to keep the math development going at home — and will have the option to check out games and manipulatives to borrow between meetings.
This play-based program is designed for kids who love numbers, and kids who struggle with them. All are welcome!
Join us on the 3rd Saturday of each month September - April from 9:30 - 10:30 am.
2026-2027 Meeting Dates: September 19, October 17, November 21, December 19, January 16, February 20, March 20 and April 17
Please note: An adult is required to stay with their student(s) the entire time. Coffee and light refreshments will be available for the adults. Students may choose to bring a water bottle or light snack if they need it, but no other supplies are needed.
We believe all young children can thrive in STEM, and we strongly encourage girls, students of color, students who are neuro-diverse, and students who are still learning English to join us. All are welcome!
The cost is $200/year and includes all 8 Math Morning sessions. If your family needs financial assistance to participate, please learn more about our Community Supported Fees here. We never want cost to be a barrier to participation!

Where do you meet?
All Clubs and Playtimes are held in the Parish Hall of Holy Comforter Episcopal Church - 1700 10th Avenue in Broomfield, Colorado. Holy Comforter is our generous host, but our programs are strictly secular, no religious content is taught or discussed, and people of any or no faith background are welcome. Please park in the rear (east) parking lot and enter through the double doors by the playground.
Can we bring siblings with us?
Playtime is designed specifically for children ages 4-8 and their parent(s). If you have an older child who you think may benefit from this program, please contact us to discuss before you register. Younger siblings in strollers or carriers are welcome as long as they don’t keep parents from supervising and interacting with their young mathematician. Diaper changing facilities are available if needed.
What happens if we can’t attend all 8 sessions?
We understand that life happens and sometimes plans change! Please let us know if you can’t attend a session and we will look forward to seeing you the following month. We are not able to issue refunds or credits for missed sessions.
Can we sign up for Saturday Math Mornings and Preschool Playtime sessions?
Great idea! We intentionally put these programs back to back so preschool families can spend the morning with us if they want to. If your kiddo can handle two hours of play, we’d love to have you for both!
